I am delighted to announce that a new Church of England curate will be coming to Stokesley at the end of June. Paul Harford, age 26, is currently at Ridley Hall, one of the two Anglican theological colleges at Cambridge. He is married to Sarah, who gave birth in March to their first child, Reuben. Paul originally came north to study English at York and stayed in the city after graduation; Sarah's family are in the Wakefield area. Paul will be ordained Deacon at York Minster on the morning of Sunday 27th June. To welcome him to his new post, there will be a tea at Stokesley Parish Church at 5pm followed by a fairly informal service of welcome at 6. All are welcome at both tea and service.

At the time of writing, I am not quite sure when Paul and Sarah will be moving in. I hope that they will be able to introduce themselves more fully in next month's "Bridge".

Revd Paul Hutchinson
